Control
system has a huge role in the current time were living and in future too, but
before going to details we should understand the meaning of "control
system" which means A control system is a device, or set of devices, that
manages, commands, directs or regulates the behavior of other device or system.
Industrial control systems are used in industrial production for controlling an
equipment or a machine.
Control
system is used everywhere around us like in AC’s, robots and in many second
industry factories, commonly in car manufacturing, which is going to be our
highlight for today’s topic.
The
hardware’s of controlling system of car manufacturing are:
The arms
The joints
The stepper
motor
The end
effector
The
software:
The special
controlling software in the microprocessor or computer that involves all the
duties of the system.
There are
lots of end effectors in this “control system” world but the most common ones
with the robots involved in the car manufacturing industries are:
1 1- Impactive – jaws
or claws which physically grasp by direct impact upon the object.
2- Ingressive –
pins, needles or hackles which physically penetrate the surface of the object
(used in textile, carbon and glass fibre handling).
3 3- Astrictive –
suction forces applied to the objects surface (whether by vacuum, magneto- or
electro-adhesion).
4- Contigutive –
requiring direct contact for adhesion to take place (such as glue, surface
tension or freezing).
These are individual and each end effector used by robots in
this car manufacturing with explanation of its functions.
